Dr. Varimna Singh is a Ph.D. from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai (IIM, Mumbai). Her thesis title is: “Some Studies on Multi-Depot Vehicle Routing Problems for Perishable Items,” which addresses critical challenges in optimizing logistics for perishable goods. Additionally, she holds an MBA in Operations from SCDL Pune and a M. Sc. in Mathematical Science from Banasthali Vidyapith.

Currently, Dr. Varimna is working as the Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) for a seed-funded project titled “Assessing Sustainable Practices and ESG Metrics in the Indian Oil and Gas Sector: Analytics-Driven Insights for Investors.” She is also supervising a Capstone Project for MBA students at an organization called Pink Tree Health LLP. 

Dr. Varimna’s research interests include sustainable supply chain management, Industry 4.0, analytics, and ESG frameworks, Metaverse in Supply Chain with a strong emphasis on solving practical industry challenges through data-driven approaches.
