Managing Teams and Groups

Students will learn to work with and manage groups and teams and turn them into high performance teams to achieve departmental & organizational goals. This will be done through teams, cross cultural management, diversity and inclusion and talent engagement. Students will learn about applying and executing these functions along with understanding and recognizing human resource assessments, rewards & recognition and HR policies.

To understand & implement Succession Planning:

This involves subordinate development and building a leadership pipeline for employees to accept responsibility and accountability as the organization grows, expands and increases its footprints.

Adapt to Diverse Workforce and Create Inclusive Culture: In a global and glocal workforce the students will be able to recognize the differences and unique traits of diverse workforce and learn to accept, adapt and work with them as well as assimilate employees in the organization by creating equal opportunities. It will result in Enhancing Belongingness and Performance of Employees during mergers and Acquisitions too.

Organization wellness and Citizenship: Students will learn employee engagement , mentoring, Coaching, Counselling to help others grow and adapt to the organization culture and ethos.

Additionally they will be capable of designing and developing HR systems and processes through in-depth analysis and assessments. They can differentiate and choose appropriate processes for the functions that they work in based on analytics, evidence, the types of organization and its culture.
  • The HR specialization has a fine balance between behavioral aspects of human resources as well as the HRM processes with emphasis on legal requirements of the business environment.

Credit Requirements

The Human Resource minor specialization has a total of 600 marks. Further, If we give one credit for 10 hours of teaching (UGC guidelines), the total credits for Minor are 18.
