Dr. Ketan Mulchandani, FRM, FIII, FMVA, is an accomplished academician and finance expert with over 18 years of diverse experience, including 12+ years in academia and 6 years in the industry, particularly in the commodity and equity markets. Currently, he is a Professor of Finance at K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai. Holding a PhD in Finance from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, and an MBA in Finance, Dr. Ketan is equipped with prestigious certifications such as Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), CFA Level-3 candidate, and NSE Certified Capital Market Professional (NCCMP). His specialization includes derivatives, risk management, corporate finance, financial markets, and corporate governance. Dr. Ketan's research interests span corporate finance, banking, ESG, earnings management, corporate governance, financial markets, financial derivatives, financial performance, insurance, and mutual funds. He has an extensive portfolio of research publications in reputed ABDC and Scopus-indexed journals. He chairs the Research Excellence Taskforce and actively contributes to key institutional committees.
