K J Somaiya Institute of Management (KJSIM), in collaboration with the Indian Academy of Management (INDAM), successfully hosted the INDAM-KJSIM International MSME Conference 2025 on 12th & 13th September at the Somaiya Vidyavihar Campus.
Themed “Vibrant MSMEs: Leadership and Sustainable Growth in Focus”, the conference brought together policymakers, industry leaders and academicians to deliberate on innovation, technology adoption, policy reforms and global collaborations shaping the MSME ecosystem.
Sponsored by Supreme Industries and the State Bank of India, the event featured keynote addresses by Shri Suresh Prabhu (Former Union Minister of Commerce & Industry) and academic leaders, including Dr Raman Ramachandran (Director & Dean, KJSIM) and Dr Vijay Pereira (Vice-President, INDAM).
Highlights included:
● Panel discussions on technology-driven innovation and policy reforms for MSMEs
● Poster competitions, exhibitions of MSME products and live demonstrations
● IDEMI-led capacity-building workshop on MSME innovation
The conference attracted participants from across India and countries including Germany, Nepal, Sri Lanka and the USA, reinforcing KJSIM’s role as a hub for research-driven dialogue and industry-academia collaboration in advancing sustainable MSME growth.
