K J Somaiya Institute of Management achieved a notable milestone by winning the Gold Medal at the 14th Indian Management Conclave (IMC) hosted by XLRI Jamshedpur.

This year’s theme, ‘Identifying Contemporary MBA Roles & Competencies: Initiatives by B-schools & Faculties,’ spotlighted transformative practices in management education. Fifty leading business schools across India participated in the event, but only three made it to the finals.

K J Somaiya Institute of Management’s initiative, Parivartan, stood out as a dynamic framework fostering student transformation through its two core pillars: Nurturing Potential (NP) and the Student Progression Index (SPI). While Nurturing Potential encourages students to recognise and develop their natural strengths, the Student Progression Index provides a comprehensive assessment of their progress over six critical dimensions, fostering a mentality that extends beyond academic accomplishment.

This award underscores the organization's dedication to changing people's lives and establishing excellence in management education.
