Pramod Shetty currently Professor and  Head of  Operations ansd Suppl Chain Management Management at SIMSR is an Industrial and Production Engineer with diploma from JBIMS followed by post graduate and doctrate from The National Institute of Industrial Engineering, (NITIE) Mumbai.

Has conducted various training programs and in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and ERP for industry spanning different verticals.

Has done  Consultancy and Training assignments in the areas of Operations and Supply Chain Management. ,such as manpower planning, production norms and productivity improvement  for clients like Microsoft, E-Merck, Welspun, Hersheys ,Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance , Galderma ,Arkema, Century Enka, BARC, HPCL, MSEB , Konkan Railway and the Indian Navy..

Has published articles in Sage , Inderscience and contributed cases to the book on Operations Management  by Pearson.

Is on the board of Studies and Academic Advisor for several Colleges and Univesities .

Is a PhD guide for several Universities.
