Semester Exchange Programme

  • Credits Earned

    Join our credit transfer-based exchange programme available for both undergraduates and postgraduates. Typically, students can earn 25 to 30 credits per semester.

  • Attendance Requirements

    Maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to fulfil programme requirements.

  • Course Selection

    Upon nomination, you'll receive detailed guidance on selecting courses tailored to your academic path.

  • Transcripts

    Official transcripts are sent to your home institution 1-2 months after the semester ends. A soft copy will be provided for your records.

  • Language of Instruction

    All courses are conducted in English.

How to Apply?

KJSIM welcomes international students through a streamlined and supportive application process:

  • Step 1 Nomination Your home university’s international office will nominate you for the exchange programme, providing details such as your name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, email address, and course of study.
  • Step 2 Confirmation Upon confirmation of your nomination, you’ll receive an email from KJSIM’s Office of International Affairs with the application form and other necessary documents.
  • Step 3 Submission Complete and submit Form 700 and Form 707A electronically to internationalrelations@kjsim.edu.

English Proficiency Requirements

For non-native English speakers, meet the following requirements:

  • TOEFL: 69-79
  • IELTS: 5.5-6.5
  • B2 Level: according to the Common European Framework

Alternative documentation of proficiency may be accepted.

Visa and Immigration

International students must obtain an S Visa (Student Visa) for their studies in India. Visa information is available through the Indian Embassy.

Additionally, all students must register with the Foreigners Registration Office (FRO) within 14 days of arrival in India.
