K J Somaiya Institute of Management hosted Marketing Conclave 2026 on the theme ‘Marketing in the Age of Intelligent Influence: Creativity, Consumers and the AI-Driven Marketplace’, organised by the Marketing and International Business Department in collaboration with Team Interface.
The conclave featured Sagnik Ghosh (Head, Creative Strategy, Innovation and Trade Marketing, Bennett Coleman & Co. (The Times of India)), Mainak Dhar (Managing Director, McCain Foods India) , Ameya Kapnadak (Chief Growth Officer and Head of Consulting, Interbrand India) , Radhika Joshi (Assistant General Manager and CMI Hair Lead, L’Oréal) and Samir Srivastav (CEO, Looks Salon), who shared insights on AI’s impact on marketing, evolving consumer journeys and the importance of creativity and human insight.
The event also included the Tech-It Marketing Competition, enabling students to apply AI-led thinking to real-world challenges. The conclave concluded by reinforcing that while AI enhances efficiency, competitive advantage continues to rest on human insight, authenticity and strategic clarity.
