On 15th September, K J Somaiya Institute of Management inaugurated the MBA Marketing Communications Programme (Batch of 2025-27), marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration with Jio Creative Labs. The partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering innovation, advancing knowledge and creating impactful learning experiences that seamlessly connect academia with industry.

Key Highlights:

  • The inauguration ceremony featured words of encouragement from Dr Raman Ramachandran, PhD, Dean and Director, K J Somaiya Institute of Management, who emphasized the institute’s commitment to equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in the evolving world of marketing communications.

  • Keynote addresses were delivered by Aditya Bhat, Head, Jio Creative Labs and Amar Kondekar, Head - Brand Services and Business Growth, Jio Creative Labs.

  • Both industry leaders shared insights on the rapidly changing brand and media landscape, urging students to embrace creativity, technology and strategic thinking as essential tools for success.

  • The collaboration with JCL is designed to provide students with exposure to real-world projects, industry mentorship and hands-on learning opportunities that go beyond conventional classroom education.

  • Students will benefit from the combined strengths of KJSIM’s academic rigor and JCL’s industry leadership, gaining deep insights into creative processes, client servicing and digital-first brand building
