Sustainability (Minor)
Climate change is no longer a distant threat, it is a reality shaping economies, industries, and societies. Rising global temperatures, extreme weather events, and shifting regulatory landscapes are redefining how businesses operate. At the same time, growing awareness of sustainability is driving governments, corporations, and individuals to take action. The future belongs to those who can navigate this transformation and turn challenges into opportunities.
The Sustainability Minor at K J Somaiya Institute of Management (KJSIM) prepares students to lead this change. Designed to integrate sustainability into core business strategy, this programme equips future leaders with the skills to analyse complex sustainability issues. It also equips students to understand the evolving relationship between business and the environment, and develop solutions that align profitability with purpose.
Through a dynamic curriculum, students explore how businesses adapt to climate challenges, implement ESG strategies, and contribute to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. The programme combines cutting-edge theory with real-world applications, including case studies, industry collaborations, and experiential projects that prepare graduates to drive meaningful impact.
